This is the same individual that is supposedly responsible for helping bust the famous Martha Stewart for her illegal dealings in insider trading that resulted in her being placed in jail.
While the story on Breakfast at Tiffany’s regarding the home is purely fictional, it is a very real home that exemplifies the highest level of grandeur.
The Cosby Show
The Huxtable House featured on The Cosby Show displays the exterior of a popular Brownstone home which is located in Greenwich Village at 10 Leroy Street.
This particular property was one of the 15 absolutely identical structures constructed during the 19th century. It combines the architectural elements of both Greek Revival and Renaissance.
The show was filmed in front of a live audience and was said to be set in Brooklyn Heights, but this iconic Brownstone was the image that we saw on every show.
The Intern
In this movie, the main character – Ben – resides in a beautiful, carefully constructed Brownstone home. This is a real home that had been occupied by the same couple for three decades in real life.
Its location is within the neighborhood known as “Cobble Hill”, which is situated in Brooklyn. The interesting thing about this movie is that they did not just show the outside of the home, they also filmed throughout the home.
The producers elected to leave a lot of the items that belonged to the real couple that was still living in the home, but added a few features. As you watch the scenes, you get a glimpse at just how beautiful these marvelous homes are – both inside and out.
