Insurance Industry Group and Small Business Group Team-up Against Premium TaxAs an effort to fight the health care premium tax, two organizations, America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), have teamed-up to prevent Obama’s health care law from coming into effect on 2014.

NJ Daily confirmed that AHIP made a transfer of $850,000 to NFIB’s accounts in 2011. The nation’s leading health insurance industry group states their distaste for the premium tax and expresses their sympathy for the small businesses and, consequently, to their customers who will eventually end up shouldering the cost.
